Many patients of The Practice SF have dental insurance, and policy benefits can differ. It can be a challenge to estimate your insurance co-payment, since some insurance companies will not distribute fees until after the treatment is completed. We ask for your co-payment during the initial visit.
As a courtesy to our patients, The Practice SF will help you by filing your insurance claims for you. In the event your insurance company asks for additional information or x-rays to process your dental claim, we provide it. After we receive payment from the insurance company, we will send you a bill for any unpaid balance, and if your deposited co-payment is more than the balance, you’ll receive a refund. Ultimately, all fees incurred are your responsibility, regardless of your insurance benefits.
